Our Multi-Age Classroom

At My Little Leaps Daycare, our four licensed multi-age classrooms are designed to feel warm, familiar, and connected — much like a home-like family environment, within a professionally licensed setting.

Children learn and grow alongside peers creating natural opportunities for friendship, leadership, empathy, and collaboration. Younger children learn by observing older peers, while older children build confidence and care through mentoring and shared play.

Each classroom is thoughtfully structured to support small-group connections, consistent routines, and meaningful relationships, ensuring every child feels a sense of belonging and has the opportunity to build lasting friendships.

Belonging

A welcoming environment where every child feels safe, valued, and included.

Inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, we view children as capable, curious, and full of potential. Our classrooms are communities where children build trusting relationships, develop a sense of belonging, and feel confident expressing themselves in many ways.

Learning Through Play

Play-based experiences that support curiosity, relationships, and growth.

Children learn best through meaningful play. Guided by Reggio-inspired practice, we observe children’s interests and extend their learning through hands-on exploration, repetition, and consistent routines. Play becomes a pathway for communication, problem-solving, and connection.

The Whole Child

A holistic approach that nurtures social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

We support the whole child by recognizing that learning is deeply connected to wellbeing. Through responsive care, thoughtful environments, and strong educator-child relationships,

Intentional Environments

Our classroom environments are intentionally set up to support children’s learning, curiosity, and well-being.

Inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, we view the environment as the third teacher—thoughtfully designed to invite exploration, collaboration, and independent discovery. Carefully arranged learning spaces encourage children to express themselves in many ways, make choices, and engage deeply with their interests. As children grow and their ideas evolve, our environments are regularly reflected upon and adapted to support meaningful, play-based learning experiences.
